Pretty Packaging - DIY Stamps and Paper Bags

I was able to make these pretty packages using...
THIS mangled eraser stamp:

I made it myself :-/

It was fun and easy to make, though it probably would have been a whole lot easier had I used an exacto knife as suggested in the DIY tutorials I found (like this one, here). No, I didn't have an exacto knife on hand so I used a box cutter instead.
Although my stamp worked, I will not be doing that again. I'm lucky I still have all my fingers.

Aside from my wonky attempts at stamp making, I also discovered another inexpensive disk-wrapping tool: paper bags. Most are from recycled paper and perfectly fit for disks. Add a little ribbon and voila!

I've become quite inspired by packaging ideas. Have you ever been creative when wrapping something? I can't wait to try more ideas... :)

  1. I've tried using the reverse side of Christmas wrapping paper (blank) and let the kids decorate with stamps & drawings etc. Quick personalize all season wrapping paper from the clearance bin all year round!

    1. Fun! The wrapping paper I have now has the cutting/ruler guide on the back... but I don't see why I couldn't draw or even just write things on it. Great idea!
